Our parents and teachers got it right when they taught us to share. Seeing sharing in action is a beautiful treasure.
Each of us has something we can share. Even a smile, a handshake, a hello can brighten a day and a life. We each have a light within that needs to be shared.

What are you thoughts when you hear the word SPLENDOR? Amazing buildings? The vastness of the ocean or sky? Beautiful gardens? Purple Mountains Majesty?
Do you ever include yourself as a part of God’s Splendor? If you are like me, probably not, but we should! When Holy Love shines through us, we offer the healing, transforming, power of that love and that is Glory! That is Splendor! And it is who we are created to be.
Rejoice in the Holy Flame within you, let it burn brightly. Let’s offer the world Light and overcome the Darkness.

Advent word for today is fulfill. That brought to mind the lectionary scripture for Sunday in Philippians 1:3-11.
Joy is fulfilled in us as we live in relationship with the Spirit of Christ. Let Christ be born in us all! Let the fruits of Love and Faith and Kindness and Peace and Joy be filled in us!

How do you walk in The Way of Christ?
My prayer this morning is that when we follow on The Way, we will live as Jesus did, putting our love for God, others, ourselves first. I pray we will not berate (bear-ate: don’t let the bear of destruction eat you up) ourselves and others. I pray we lift others up and offer hope and life as we move through our Path. (Whoops, the Advent Word today is Path.)

SOUL! Such a deep and meaningful word. I see it as seeping into the very depths of our Being, drawing forth those raw emotions, like those expressed in the Blues. Our Soul as the very essence of who we are, that we may not even know fully ourselves.
Advent speaks to the time needed to observe, to feel, to dive into the depths of our true selves and to connect to The Divine Creator, Source, Love, Hope, Essence of All Life.

What does the word PROMISE evoke in you? Is it a word that brings Hope or a word that carries disappointment? Is a word that brings out a desire to offer Hope by your actions? Does it cause you to stop and consider what is the Promise you would like to see fulfilled? Does it spark a desire to see a Promise that includes all people and not just yourself?
