Yesterday, 01.19.2021, was a little much and Facebook live kept cutting me off. In the one below, I did make it to the spot where I would have prayed. I am thankful for those who prayed for me. Today, the effect of those prayers came shining through abbreviated it’s been an All-Star Day!
COME AND ABIDE IN THE LOVE WHO HOLDS YOU : Home Communion 01.17.2021
O LOVE THAT WILL NOT LET ME GO 01.16.2021
These words keep running through my head today: O Love That Will Not Let Me Go. I thought there may be others who needed to hear them as well, to know that all is not hopeless.
TRYING SOMETHING NEW MORNING PRAYER JANUARY 13, 2021
Before I can figure out one social media’s how-to, it’s off to another one! As confusing as it can be, it can also stretch us and bless us, and maybe bring some good news to others.
“Can anything good come from Nazareth?” is the question Nathaniel asks Phillip in The Gospel of John. Can anything good take place on the internet? “Come and See” is the answer. Prayer and living in prayer let us come and see.
Please join me in prayer:
CHRISTMAS ALL YEAR
Tuesday, January 12, 2021
While Christmas Day is behind us and the twelve days of Christmas are over, the message of Christmas is not. Heaven and Earth do meet. The Holy is with and within us.
OPEN TO WONDER 01.11.2021
It is snowing here! And the flakes are big enough to see! Praying to be open to the Holy Wonders all the time.
My video wouldn’t download today, so I am posting the link.
TBE FAMILY TABLE 01.10.2021 COMMUNION
Jesus’ baptism began his ministry where he showed us what it means to love. Throughout his life, he broke down barriers, and in his death, we are told that the Temple veil ripped apart, so that there are no barriers between us and our Creator and each other. We are beloved daughters and sons of God.
Communion was called The Lord’s Table where I grew up because Christ invites us and we do not exclude anyone. It is also the family table as we gather together and recall the death and resurrection of Jesus.
I invite you to join in this “at home” Communion.
WHO ARE YOU? 01.09.2021
The Christian church calendar moves pretty quickly from Jesus’ birth to his baptism. The gospel of Mark starts with John the Baptist and from there introduces us to Jesus.
This Sunday, we are asked to remember our baptism. I am reading a book which posits that we all need to spend time looking inward to see what causes different emotions in us, to recognize what gives us energy and what zaps it, to know ourselves as a crucial part of our spiritual growth.
Remembering our baptism is a good time to do that inward discovering.
JANUARY 6, 2021 EPIPHANY!
It’s never too late to welcome everyone to God’s Love!
WHEW! 01.08.2021
I never saw the movie, “Waiting to Exhale,” but I know the feeling. Some events have such a build-up that when they finally happen, “whew! It’s over.” And then, it’s time to inhale and jump over the next hurdle.
Today, I am thankful for those moments of rest between those hurdles letting us refill our spiritual wells.
