True power is found in Love. So often, I hear about the power to overcome, the power to succeed, the power of this, the power of that. Our society has so many ideas of how to gain power and how to help bring good.
It is fascinating to me to see pictures of brain imaging tests that science is now capable of sharing. It is no surprise to me to discover that research is finding that love is the most powerful healer of people and the many ills of society.
You may ask, “What can I do? What is my purpose?“ The answer that Faith gives is to love each other.
My prayer this morning is a prayer of hope based on the gift of love:
