As we prepare for a New Year in the Gregorian Calendar, be kind to others and to yourself. Possibly write a thank you letter to yourself for the things you have accomplished, your successes, and be compassionate with yourself for those things you didnβt get done. Once you note those successes, it will be easier to be kind to yourself. And donβt forget all those little things you do, like taking care of your pets. Cleaning out the cat box or bird cage and running dogs in and out deserves some pats on the back! (Having just completed two of those tasks. No birds. π³)
My prayer this morning lifts up Colossians 3:12-14. It is a good verse to remember for any kind of relationship. And as always, I pray that every one of us may draw close to The Living, Loving, All-Encompassing Power, The I AM.
